Names on this sheet fill the driver column for each route. First name, last name, and email stay with the driver when they move between routes. Send notice on a clock-time change uses this email. It opens a text message and downloads a calendar PDF you can attach.

Set contracted clock times
Add a route number, then enter the clock times that route was contracted for before any changes. New contract dates follow the Teamster October 1 rules: before October 1, under-30-minute changes become contracted on October 1; after October 1, increases and decreases in the same 15 school days are added together under Art. 3.08(b).
Route clock times
Each row is a full schedule. The first row is the established starting times. Later rows are changes, oldest to newest. Send notice opens a text email that lists the original clock times and every change to date, and downloads a calendar PDF. Attach that PDF if you want the driver to see the calendar. Notice sent is marked Yes.

Route clock-time history
Each color matches a row in your clock times. A square marks the day those times were established. When a change counts 15 school days, those days are filled and numbered. The day of the change does not count: the next school day is 1. An arrow covers the days still left before those times become contracted, and points at a box around that day. A box marks each end-of-month bid period.
How the contract math works
- A qualifying clock-time change opens a review window. The close date depends on whether the change is before or after October 1, and on whether it is an increase or a decrease. Art. 3.08 does not say what happens if the route changes again before that window closes. This app’s assumption is that another change resets the countdown and adds the exact minute difference. After October 1 that window is 15 school days for both added time and time taken off. If, before that countdown finishes, another addition or subtraction turns a small change (under 30 minutes) into a large one (30 minutes or more), the countdown starts over at that point. If nothing else changes during the new 15 school days, the route is then eligible for bid or for the seniority choice. A 20-minute change and a 15-minute change inside those 15 school days are one 35-minute change.

When the window closes, the accumulated difference is checked
against 30 minutes:
- Under 30 minutes → the new times are automatically contracted.
- Increase of 30+ minutes → bid pending: from the initial bid, after 15 school days, or in the last five school days of the month, October through April.
- Decrease of 30+ minutes → bump eligible: when the decrease is written, before October 1, or after it has lasted 15 school days.
- Art. 3.08 does not say how contracted hours are rounded. This app rounds AM, midday, and PM separately to the nearest 15 minutes, adds those rounded amounts, and rounds that sum to the nearest 15 minutes for the contracted daily total. A schedule can change without contracted hours changing if both totals round to the same quarter hour.
